Application:
The QJ series high-efficiency mud cleaner is a secondary and tertiary solids control equipment in the drilling fluid purification system. It further separates smaller particulate solids from the mud processed by the vibrating screen, facilitating the mud's entry into the quaternary separation equipment. The QJ series cleaner can be used independently, or its underflow shaker can serve as a parallel standby for the primary solids control shaker.

- The hydrocyclone uses materials resistant to fluid erosion and corrosion. The feed inlet is linear, providing a smooth transition that enhances separation efficiency. The internals are smooth, with a well-designed flow path.
- The desilters are circularly distributed to ensure even pressure distribution across all cyclones, with uniform flow. The number of desanders and desilters can be configured according to user requirements.

Multifunctionality:
The Mertek mud cleaner incorporates CS desanders and CN desilters mounted on a high-performance ZS/Z shaker, forming part of the solid control equipment in the mud cleaning system. The system can be used independently or in parallel with other shakers.

Working Principle:
The mud cleaner combines hydrocyclones – desilters and desanders units – to separate fine particles from heavy, large particulate solids. Heavy metals and other solid particles are captured by a vibrating screen mesh ranging from 100 to 200 mesh, and after separation, they enter the main system.
